Apologies!

I'm sure you're aware that I haven't been blogging for a week or so. Due to moving house last week I've been ultra busy and without proper internet! It's been horrible. I'm all settled into my new place and the internet got connected yesterday, so I'm back online!

I'm still with my terrible old computer so using the internet still isn't all that fun for me, but it only has to last until next week! Next Wednesday, the 11th, is my 21st birthday! Which is when I'll be getting myself a lovely new laptop! I cannot wait.

So this is just to let you know the reason behind my unscheduled hiatus, and that I should be back up and running in a week or so. But I'll be doing my best up until then. 

And also, good news! I'm in the process of setting up my first giveaway for all you lovely followers! Keep your eyes peeled because it should be getting put up on the blog in the next week. How exciting?

This week on Instagram.

Hello, hello! Welcome to this weeks edition of 'This week on Instagram'! Now I must admit that there isn't a lot of Instagram uploads this week, but I do have a good reason! I finally have confirmed plans to move house. We were quite skeptical for a while, due to a few previous moving plans fell through but it's all sorted now! So it means I've been busy all week packing up, so I haven't had a lot of time to do much else!

But here's the small amount of pictures I've taken and uploaded to Instagram anyway! For your enjoyment, I hope! It's a bit late to be uploaded today due to it being fathers day and me being out for dinner!

I packed all my portable mirrors, and all my mirrors from the wall had been taken down so I used my iPad to dry my hair in! Smart.

Last Weekends' New Buys!

Hey lay-deeez!

I went out around town last Saturday to do a bit of shopping. I haven't done it in a while. One reason is because of the weather. It's been terribly windy and rainy for the past week or so. The next reason is that I'm rather low on money and I should probably stop wasting my money on junk! But I did anyway ;)

I didn't buy an awful lot mind, but I was in search for a new pair of jeans. To no avail. But I did get a pair of coloured jeans which I adore!

It's hard to tell the colour of them perfectly with the lighting in the images, but they're a little lighter than the picture makes them seem. They're so soft and very comfortable though. Pretty good for a cheap pair of jeans! Now I just need to find some denim ones that fit. -.-

Next up, is some new nail polishes!

~ Just a quick note before I start introducing the colours, the camera quality and lighting does not do the green polish any favours. It's much more green than it appears! ~

As you can see, they're both Rimmel polishes from the 'I Heart Lasting Finish' range. (I think I have a thing for Rimmel products!) The first is 700 'Block Your Green'. In the image it looks slighty teal in colour but it's  a lot more green when you see it for real. The next is 239 'Your Majesty', a very sparkly, very pigmented silver glitter polish.

I'm not a great fan of glitter polishes but I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm looking forward to incorporating it into a nail art design!

This are both the polishes with a base coat and one coat of polish.

The green looks terribly blue, so it's hard to show you the colour. So I would recommend checking it out yourself! But you can definitely see the shimmer on the silver.

This is with a base coat and two coats of polish. Both very pigmented and only need the two coats. Now I'm going to finish off the design for this weeks NOTW!

This week on Instagram.

Welcome again, to another weekly edition of  'This week on Instagram'. This Sunday my family are sitting out in the rain under a gazebo having a BBQ. Crazy Brits, right? Even though it's raining, the food is cooking just nicely and I can't wait to dig into a lovely burger with bacon and cheese!

There are quite a few Instagram uploads this week, I think I tend to go a bit overboard with it sometimes! But it does mean more for you to glare at on your Sunday evenings, which can't be a bad thing!

My free sample of toothpaste turned up! I still haven't tried it though.

Absolutely terrible parking I passed outside my house. It's surprising he still kept his wingmirrors after that!

Emptied out R2 to do a little count up. There was about a tenner there.

Some cute rings that were bought for me. Unfortunately they were too big, nice though!

Ooh, a healthy-ish dinner I had one night this week. It was very tasty.

I painted my nails again this week after the blue didn't last. Tried a bit of nail art, turned out alright I think.

The end result of one hand. I ended up just doing vertical lines on each nail on the other hand because I got a bit bored! Lasted until today too.

Freshly dried hair. I think I need my bangs cut, don't you?

My little collection of Maybelline Baby Lips. I'm still yet to pick which one I wish to use first!

Was really happy with my 38 followers so I did a little deco on the image to make it all sparkly. I now have 42 followers, thank you all <3

My little Ewok necklace I bought a year ago, cute little lego guy.

My favourite smoothie bar that closed down a few years ago came back! I got to have the banana milkshake I like so much. Very yummy, indeed.

The cutest of all kittys, this is Penny. Relaxing on the windowsill in the sun. She was so warm after!

Double yolked egg though, it's not often you see those!

This weeks update!

Hey hey, lovely followers.

Now, I do apologise for the lack of posts the past two weeks or so. I’ve been left without internet for a few days for a start. And I haven’t been doing an awful lot due to the Bank Holiday weekend and the horrible weather! So I’ve been stuck inside with no internet and nothing to do! Which means not an awful lot to blog about.

Also, I mentioned in a recent post that I would be moving house shortly. Unfortunately that’s not going to be happening because the landlords of that house decided that they didn’t like our paperwork and we’re not able to move there. Bit of a bummer, but these things happen.

So there you are, just a quick update for you.

Blog Improvements!

Hello, hello! Welcome to a lovely Friday afternoon! How are we all today?

I'm sorry for the lateness in this post. I was meant to do so two days ago from the iPhone blogger app that I downloaded and was trying for the first time. But it wouldn't let me publish the post! So I had to wait two days before I was back infront of a computer to get this post out to you. So I'm terribly sorry for a boring week of no posts!

Not a major blog post today, just to give you an update on some site maintenance I got working on the other night. It was only a few minor aesthetic tweaks but I think it makes a difference and adds better useability for you lovely followers!

But here comes the big question for you, can you spot the differences?

You've Got Mail! &-Quick Update-

Well, I have, I don't know about you! Indeed, it's that time again where I show you the goodies I receive in the mail. Usually what I've bought off of eBay! I've been away the past three days, only to come home to two lovely packages! Let's see what's inside.

Ooh, it's a big package this time! I couldn't for the life of me remember what I'd ordered so it was a lovely surprise for me! 

First up is one of those pens that you can use on a touch screen. I've already got one but I ordered this one for my little cousin and her Blackberry Playbook. I hope she likes it!

Bought from eBay for 99p with free P+P.

Next up was a little Hello Kitty bag I won in an auction on eBay. Only a little trinket. I'll probably use it for make up or toiletries. It's rather cute!

Bought from eBay also, for £2.90. 

Not bad for a few quid. I might do another eBay raid and get some cheap little goodies again soon! It also means more mail for me, and I love getting mail.

QUICK UPDATE.

Just a note to let you all know that I should be moving house in the next two to three weeks. So please forgive me for my lack of posting and internet habits in general. I've got a lot of stuff to be doing (I should probably start packing right now) but I haven't even gotten round to it yet. I've got a busy two weeks ahead of me!

New shoes, finally!

You may or may not know this, but it's incredibly difficult for me to find shoes that fit me. My feet are half a size different to each other (which is pretty normal, actually) but they're really thin and flat. So the majority of shoes rub my feet everywhere cause the fleshy fat bits around my feet aren't fleshy and fat enough. This means I can't wear any shoes without socks either because of the same problem. So damn, damn, damn!

Anyway, in an earlier post I mentioned about a pair of shoes that I bought that fit quite nicely. Still wearing them around and they're fine. It's a good thing they came in loads of different colours because today I bought some more!

This time I chose navy blue! I would have chosen black but they didn't have any. But I suppose these should go with all my jeans so I'm all set! Though if they come back in stock in black I might get them too ^_^

So the reason I was in town today was that I had a job interview! It's just for a clothes shop, weekend job really but anything is good right now! I had to spend an hour there 'working' so they could see how I handled the customers. Should know about it next week! Wish me luck :)

Apart from today, nothing special has happened this week. I went and saw the kittens again (but I won't spam you with kitten photos because I took a lot!) and I took my boyfriends cat to the vet and that's about it. This weekend though, WWE PPV Over The Limit! It's going to be lovely! 

So it's going to be a long and sleepless weekend so I'll see you on the other side of it!

This weeks update!

I haven’t been posting an awful lot lately and I apologise for that. It’s been due to an illness I’ve had over the weekend and a bit of head stress.

I’ve been pondering over what I’m going to do with myself recently. At the moment I’m unemployed and totally skint and it’s been getting me down. Which is also another reason why I haven’t been posting, because I’ve had nothing to post about! I’ve been stuck in a lot and I haven’t been able to buy anything either. I’m stuck in a bit of a rut.

I’m on an intensive job search, looking everyday and I might wander all the shops and try handing out cvs. That should hopefully get me somewhere. It’s horrible not having any money! I’ve had to borrow some to pay my car insurance tomorrow. Stress stress stress!

Another idea I’ve had was to take my interest in the Japanese language further. I’ve been looking up courses and such in my area and hoping to find something suitable (and not crazy expensive!). I’ve tried teaching myself and using the internet to aid that but I haven’t managed to keep any of it in my head, apart from some very basics and the first five hiragana characters. I think I’d work better with some formal training.

The first place I looked was some night schools, of which there was none that did Japanese language. I tried at the University but you need A levels to do the degree which unfortunately I don’t have. After a few phone calls I’ve been informed that I should be able to do a specific evening course for a reasonable fee and then go on to the degree. Which is lovely news! But in the meantime I still need a job to get by.

All in all, this has been getting me down. It hasn’t really put me in the mood to post things, and it hasn’t really given me much to post about. So I’m very sorry, my lovely readers. Hopefully though, soon enough I’ll be on my feet with a better life to post about!

Luckily this morning I received some good mail and today I’ve made some yummy dinner so that’s a little something to post about in a day or two.

Sorry about another terrible post! But I still appreciate all my lovely followers.
