Hello Kitty Bedding!

I've been umming and arrring about the latest Liberty Arts collab with Hello Kitty bedding sets. There's loads of Hello Kitty bedding out there that is only for single beds. Me being as old as I am, I have a double bed. So anyway, I totally needed a Hello Kitty bedspread. I found mine on eBay. They had five different styles which I struggled to pick one. But I picked this one!

The design is called Park Life. It's got so many great colours in it. I bought an under sheet and pillow cases to compliment the colours in it. My bedding before was just plain black or plain purple. This is such a difference!

It totally lightens up my room and it's just so cute! I feel like I want to buy all the other designs so I can have Hello Kitty on my bed all the time. The quality is just brilliant and it's so cosy. There's so many Hello Kittys on my bed right now!

Some close up shots of the design. The first pic, the bottom pattern is what's on the underside of the duvet, I guess you could use it that way too if you wanted. And the second pic is a bit of a close up at the design. It's all about being at the park so there's trees and a fountain and Hello Kitty and loads of her friends!

I'm thinking about buying another one next pay day just so I can have Hello Kitty on my bed forever! So look forward to another post on Hello Kitty bedding when I buy them all!

New Earrings!

The length of these is not something I'm used to wearing but I look forward to wearing these out somewhere fancy, soon. 

Simple cross earrings. Three separate chains hanging from each earring with a cross on the end of each.

We've had a pretty sunny week where I live. It's excruciatingly warm today! To embrace it fully I'm going to clean my car in the sunshine. Uneventful week this week, just been trying to keep cool!

PPV Cakes! Well, sort of cakes. We had these for the PPV last Sunday. It was a good night!

NOTW: Nails of the Week!

So here's a post about what I did to my nails this week!

Since we've had nice weather this week where I am, I thought I'd choose a summery colour for my nails, get myself in the spirit of things! 

Here's what I used: 

Two colours from Rimmel's 60 seconds range and a stamping plate I bought from eBay.

After the base coat I used this lovely orangey colour for the main colour. I used two coats. This colour is called Instyle Coral. 

For the stamping colour used on the ring finger and thumb of each hand I used 'Blue Eyed Girl', a stunning shade of blue.

Just a picture to show the stamping kit. This post is from when I first got the kit, and how it's used. In the reflection of the plate you can see RKO written in magnets on my radiator ^_^

The quality isn't too great (I'm terrible with cameras) but you get the jist! Some nice Sonic PJ's behind my hand, there.

You've Got Mail! &-Quick Update-

Well, I have, I don't know about you! Indeed, it's that time again where I show you the goodies I receive in the mail. Usually what I've bought off of eBay! I've been away the past three days, only to come home to two lovely packages! Let's see what's inside.

*update at the bottom of this post*

Ooh, it's a big package this time! I couldn't for the life of me remember what I'd ordered so it was a lovely surprise for me! 

First up is one of those pens that you can use on a touch screen. I've already got one but I ordered this one for my little cousin and her Blackberry Playbook. I hope she likes it!

Bought from eBay for 99p with free P+P.

Next up was a little Hello Kitty bag I won in an auction on eBay. Only a little trinket. I'll probably use it for make up or toiletries. It's rather cute!

Bought from eBay also, for £2.90. 

Not bad for a few quid. I might do another eBay raid and get some cheap little goodies again soon! It also means more mail for me, and I love getting mail.

QUICK UPDATE.

Just a note to let you all know that I should be moving house in the next two to three weeks. So please forgive me for my lack of posting and internet habits in general. I've got a lot of stuff to be doing (I should probably start packing right now) but I haven't even gotten round to it yet. I've got a busy two weeks ahead of me!

Convienient Nail Art Item!

One of the handiest things I've bought recently for doing your nails has got to be this nail polish remover dispenser. 

Okay, it doesn't help you do your nails, but it does help you clean them up if you make a mistake!

I bought it off of eBay (as usual!) for a mere 99p with free postage. It took a little while to arrive because it came from China, but it's worth it!

 It's a very simple idea. Just like a pump dispenser on hand soap, but instead of  the liquid coming out on your hand, it goes straight onto the cotton pad. 

There's no mess and not a chance you'd knock the tub over and get stinky nail polish remover everywhere.

I'd definitely recommend getting one if you change your nail polish often.

Ooh, I've Got Some Mail!

Boring week this week! But I did get some mail the other day.

The first package that came. It was so taped up on the edges I couldn't get in it for ages :(

It's a Totoro hat and scarf! It has little claws ^_^

Package number two!

This package contained a little panda eyemask, a panda (with heart eyes!) little pouch and a tofu phone holder. All little things but it's more cute for my room!

All of the above items were from eBay. The hat and scarf was around £9, and the rest were under £3 each. 

Let's finish up with a gorgeous picture of Tilly having a snooze on the sofa. She's beautiful!
