Hello Kitty Bedding!

I've been umming and arrring about the latest Liberty Arts collab with Hello Kitty bedding sets. There's loads of Hello Kitty bedding out there that is only for single beds. Me being as old as I am, I have a double bed. So anyway, I totally needed a Hello Kitty bedspread. I found mine on eBay. They had five different styles which I struggled to pick one. But I picked this one!

The design is called Park Life. It's got so many great colours in it. I bought an under sheet and pillow cases to compliment the colours in it. My bedding before was just plain black or plain purple. This is such a difference!

It totally lightens up my room and it's just so cute! I feel like I want to buy all the other designs so I can have Hello Kitty on my bed all the time. The quality is just brilliant and it's so cosy. There's so many Hello Kittys on my bed right now!

Some close up shots of the design. The first pic, the bottom pattern is what's on the underside of the duvet, I guess you could use it that way too if you wanted. And the second pic is a bit of a close up at the design. It's all about being at the park so there's trees and a fountain and Hello Kitty and loads of her friends!

I'm thinking about buying another one next pay day just so I can have Hello Kitty on my bed forever! So look forward to another post on Hello Kitty bedding when I buy them all!

SheInside Review

So having heard a lot of good things about SheInside I decided to check if there was anything on their website that I wanted, and there was loads! In the end I struggled to decide on just two items.

The items are an Orange Hooded Coat and a Wine Red Heart Print Blouse. I ordered them on the 24th of November and they arrived on the 11th of December so I guess around 15 days delivery. But the shipping was free so that's a bonus! Because I logged in with Facebook I got 20% off my order too, which was awesome!

One of the items went down in the sale a few days after I ordered, but before it was shipped. So I emailed them to query whether I could be refunded the difference because some places to that. Unfortunately they couldn't offer me that but they did give me a 20% off code for my next order, which was nice of them. :)

They came packaged in a standard grey postage bag. I don't have a picture of that because I was too excited and opened it straight away. Under the first layer, they were individually packaged in their own zip lock bags. The bags were labelled with the SheInside logo. Really shows they put an effort into their packaging which is nice!

The first item I opened up was the heart print blouse. The first thing I noticed was how nice the material felt. I always worry when buying online what the quality will be like but this was lovely.

It's so pretty! I ordered it in a small because I assume I would have been because I'm an 8-10 UK size but it was a little tight and short on the sleeves. If I wear it folded up it's fine.

It doesn't look so bad on and it fits quite nicely everywhere else. Maybe I'll try a size M next time just for a bit more room. The print is just gorgeous though and the colour is nice. I don't usually wear red but it's pretty cute!

I also bought a orange coat with a furry bear hood. I was looking for a new coat so I was so happy when I saw this one!

It was hard to get it to hang nice because it's so puffy and the hood is pretty thick. Again, this colour isn't something I'd usually wear but I just went for it. This coat comes in two pieces. The orange part is the main coat, but the furry inside with the hood attached is a gilet that attaches to the inside with buttons. It's pretty neat if it's not too warm one day, you can just take out the inner gilet.

Again, I look a mess but it's just to show what it's like on. Unfortunately with this one, it's a little short on the sleeves again, but still wearable. I guess I just like my sleeves loooong. So I'm definitely going to buy a size M when I order next time.

I think the hood is the best part of this coat. It has bear ears! It's just adorable. Definitely feels like it will be warm enough in the cold British winter.

I'm hoping I can get some more SheInside items soon, but in a better fitting size for me. They have such great fashions on their website, the pricing is great and the free shipping is a real bonus.

This week on Instagram!

As I'm sure you're probably aware, I missed last weeks Instagram post! I found myself stuck between being a little bit busy and a little bit lazy. I've also spent the majority of the past few weeks either working at my new job or playing video games. I've gotten myself addicted to Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 again, and I bought Skyrim yesterday too!
So expect less and less of me as I play video games obsessively!

As you can imagine, two weeks worth of Instagram uploads is a lot! There's a massive 24 pictures for you to glare at, in one spectacular post!

If you'd like to follow me on Instragram my username is Taylalatbh or Click Here to add me.

New earrings I bought. Crosses, simple enough!

My outfit for my first day of work. Too much black is boring!

New work shoes. I thought I could handle slight heels but my feet ached after a few hours!

That's right, I work at Next!

Another set of lashes came in the mail. I LOVE these.

Got myself a little bedroom friend. Alfie having a little sleep.

Those new lashes I bought (pictured above, basic make up).

The picture doesn't do it justice but there was a massive spider on my ceiling. I had to throw a shoe at it!

Yes! Rollercoaster Tycoon 2! Obsessing over this.

Before bed-time friend! He came for a little cuddle before we went to bed.

(aren't I just obsessed with my new pup?) Alfie's been playing in the garden, covered in mud!

Pretty Tilly chilling with her belly out! Aww.

Tilly again. My morning companion while I got myself ready for work.

Wearing that dress again for work. Hair up this time :)

I changed from those heels to these ultra comfortable flats. Cute little ankle boots. I should have taken those socks off though!

ANOTHER new set of lashes! These are bottom ones. I haven't managed to get these on right yet, though. I need more practice!

Me being scruffy. Wearing my boyfriends jumper. Me love cookies.

Left some make up on the windowsill. It melted a little bit.

Simple work make up. Blue!

My cute little Hello Kitty watch I got for my birthday. Aww!

Mini make up haul this week. All this for under £15. Check out THIS POST for more info!

My confirmation letter came through. Starting my Japanese night course in October!

Took Alfie out for a ride in the car to go and see my nan. He LOVED hanging out the window. He looks like a polar bear. Aww.

Yay, I bought Skyrim for PC. Been playing non-stop.
Sort of eventful week this week. Work related things, a few games and some cosmetic pictures! I hope I didn't disappoint.

Don't forget to add me on Instagram and Twitter for more updates.

This Weeks New Buys!

As you may or may not know, I'm in the process of moving at the moment. So a lot of my things and clothes are in storage. What better way to make me feel better about being without some of my nice clothes for two weeks than to go shopping and buy some more?

And that's exactly what I did. ^_^

I didn't want to spend too long in town because it was a little late in the day and my boyfriend was already tired. So first up we went to Greggs for a nice pasty each, and we went into the market where I bought three fresh doughnuts and a melted chocolate dip. Nom noms!

So, onto the shopping! To keep it quick we just went into Primark today. My main objection of the day was to buy a pair of jeans because I don't think I have enough to last me for these two weeks. The first thing I did see, though, was a cute little Hello Kitty jumper.

Now, I'm a sucker for anything Hello Kitty. So I couldn't very well leave it there, could I?

Cute right? Snazzy slogan, and it's a weird shaped jumper, but it's quite nice on! I ended up trying it on in the middle of the shop floor because I couldn't be bothered to go to the changing room ^_^

Price: £10.

Jeans! I then went to find some jeans! Last time I went to Primark to look for jeans, I decided that the ones I liked didn't fit me (because I must be a funny shape -.- ) So I opted to go for the ones I bought last time that I mentioned in this post, but in a different colour. I went for red!

Quite nice I thought, lovely for summer. I didn't feel the need to try them on because I just bought the same size as the ones I'd already bought. So I assume they should fit!

Price: £11.

On the way to the tills I came across a table of T-shirts which just so happened to have a little selection of Hello Kitty ones. Again, I couldn't resist so I picked up this lovely one.

They had a few other designs there that were Hello Kitty. One was too sparkly for me and the other one was a Diamond Jubilee one. Both not my style. This one was terribly cute, though.

Price: £6.

I also saw a Kermit The Frog one there too, and my boyfriend got so excited that he wouldn't let me leave it there, so I bought that one too.

Ahh, I love The Muppets.

Price: £6.

I couldn't let myself spend any more money so I paid and left after that. I'm happy with my goodies though. ^_^ Spoiled myself a little bit!

What have you been up to this week?

New shoes, finally!

You may or may not know this, but it's incredibly difficult for me to find shoes that fit me. My feet are half a size different to each other (which is pretty normal, actually) but they're really thin and flat. So the majority of shoes rub my feet everywhere cause the fleshy fat bits around my feet aren't fleshy and fat enough. This means I can't wear any shoes without socks either because of the same problem. So damn, damn, damn!

Anyway, in an earlier post I mentioned about a pair of shoes that I bought that fit quite nicely. Still wearing them around and they're fine. It's a good thing they came in loads of different colours because today I bought some more!

This time I chose navy blue! I would have chosen black but they didn't have any. But I suppose these should go with all my jeans so I'm all set! Though if they come back in stock in black I might get them too ^_^

Navy Boat Shoes
River Island
£20

The best thing about it was I didn't just get one pair of shoes that fit, but two! This time I chose a pair of black daps.

Pretty simple, nothing fancy. But they're relatively comfortable, so that's good.

Black Daps
River Island
£12

So the reason I was in town today was that I had a job interview! It's just for a clothes shop, weekend job really but anything is good right now! I had to spend an hour there 'working' so they could see how I handled the customers. Should know about it next week! Wish me luck :)

Apart from today, nothing special has happened this week. I went and saw the kittens again (but I won't spam you with kitten photos because I took a lot!) and I took my boyfriends cat to the vet and that's about it. This weekend though, WWE PPV Over The Limit! It's going to be lovely!

So it's going to be a long and sleepless weekend so I'll see you on the other side of it!

Enjoy your weekend, ladies.

Trip to Birmingham

Last Thursday my lovely boyfriend and I decided on an impromptu trip to Birmingham for a day out and a bit of shopping.

Some pictures of the day!

This giant strawberry was sat outside a service station on our way up. It was so cute I felt the need to take a picture!

The ride up would usually take about an hour and a half, two hours maximum. But about 20 minutes before we arrived at Birmingham something bad happened!

Flat tyre! Not so bad, just need to change the tyre. But we were going quite fast on the motorway, very dangerous! But luckily I managed to pull over safely. It could have been a lot worse! Thankfully I’m a member of the AA so I gave them a call and a nice gent was there within half hour. He changed my tyre and we were on our way.

On closer inspection of the tyre, though.

That’s a giant hole in my tyre! We’re very lucky we didn’t spin out or anything when it popped.

Now, we arrived at the Birmingham Bullring. Very lovely shopping centre! But the shop I wanted to see the most was the Forever 21 store. I’ve never been in one before and I was excited to see inside.

Snazzy outside! Very big store, it has three floors! It was so massive I found it rather difficult to do any shopping! But it was a lovely just to have a wander around.

Lovely wall feature on the inside of the store.

Next up we went into Selfriges. An open plan type store with loads of smaller concessions inside. Nice experience!

Nice little mannequins inside, too!

We went for a walk outside the main shopping centre and raided the streets! And a rather funny street we did find.

I found it quite funny.

Then we found a Blue Banana store and I had a look see at the shoes.

Totally gorgeous. But I’d never wear them!

I was very tempted by these ones. But luckily I held off until I found these beauties!

Now I must admit, they’re not legit ones. But I can’t afford to cough out the money for real ones. I’m very pleased with them for the price though.

I can’t wait to wear them out :D

Bit of a long random post today, but I’ll leave it at that for now!

Hope you enjoy your weekend. x
