This week on Instagram.

Here we are, once again! This weeks edition of 'This week on Instagram'. Have you missed it? There's a fair few more pictures this week than last, which is much better. I'm still out of house at the moment, until next weekend. Which is starting to become a bit of a pain! But I'm coping well enough. Not a lot of news this week, though. I'm sure I'll be pretty boring until I move into my new place.

So here are the Instagram uploads of the week, I hope you enjoy them! A little earlier today, which is the first in a while!

If you'd like to follow me on Instragram my username is Taylalatbh or Click Here to add me.

The cake I made from last weekend. We ate it last Sunday for the WWE PPV.

New clothes! I bought a lovely Hello Kitty jumper this week. Check out what else I bought here.

I woke up and half my hair was straight, the other was curled. Weird!

Yummy bacon sandwich my grampy made for me! Nom!

Another of my new buys, Kermit t-shirt!

The gems I ordered arrived! Now I just need to find some glue and I can start deco-ing!

Played a very nerdy game this week. Flying a spaceship 'nd such.

Tilly, styling my Kinder Egg toy on her head, does she like it?

Yummy cakes they had in the restaurant. I didn't have any :(

The meal I had, a massive sandwich! Struggled so much to eat it -.-

Tilly's in the bag! She loved it in there.

New Revlon lipstick I bought, review to come!

Snacks for last night. Yummy.

Kitty's getting cosy. They're never like this!

They must only be nice to each other while they're sleeping!
So there we have it, this weeks uploads! Slightly better content than last weekend, full of cats again, too! Hopefully more images to come next weekend, but that's moving time so we'll see how it goes!

Review: Quickies Nail Polish Remover.

Quickies Nail Polish Remover.

£1.09

x20 Pads

As you probably know (because I've mentioned it how much?) I'm in the process of moving this week so a lot of my things are in storage. One of those items being all of my nail supplies. I (stupidly) left on some nail polish after I packed everything away and it got to the point where my nails had chipped away and really needed the polished removed!

I'd only just bought a fresh bottle of remover so I didn't feel like buying a new one. While I was in the supermarket I noticed this: Quickies Nail Polish Remover.

The packaging of the product is quite small and handy, good for portability: to keep in your handbag! It's also pink so it probably won't look out of place there either. This one comes with a twisty lid (but I have seen others with a clip lid) so there's no chance of anything leaking.

It comes with 20 pre-soaked pads of nail polish removing goodness.

The first thing I noticed was that it had a lovely smell. It's not too overpowering like a lot of nail polish removers are. The pads were very thin, not like the normal cotton pads you would use (well, what I normally use). I'm not sure whether it makes it better, worse or not really much difference. I suppose since it's already pre-soaked, they don't need to be too thick because they don't need to hold any more liquid, so it works quite well.

When using them, I noticed it took quite a bit of rubbing on the nail to get it all off. There was a base coat, two coats of colour and a top coat. Quite a bit too get through, but it struggled slightly compared to a normal bottle of polish remover and a cotton pad.

  • Handy size, perfect for the handbag!
  • Good for if you're out and not where all your supplies are.
  • Nice smell, not overpowering like other removers.
  • Good price.

  • Leaves your fingers feeling a bit greasy.
  • Needs a lot of rubbing to get all the polish off.

If I was going away on a trip, or away from my nail supplies for a little while I'd definitely take this product with me (providing I actually needed nail polish remover!). It's a lot more compact than a bottle of nail polish remover and a packet of cotton pads.

This Weeks New Buys!

As you may or may not know, I'm in the process of moving at the moment. So a lot of my things and clothes are in storage. What better way to make me feel better about being without some of my nice clothes for two weeks than to go shopping and buy some more?

And that's exactly what I did. ^_^

I didn't want to spend too long in town because it was a little late in the day and my boyfriend was already tired. So first up we went to Greggs for a nice pasty each, and we went into the market where I bought three fresh doughnuts and a melted chocolate dip. Nom noms!

So, onto the shopping! To keep it quick we just went into Primark today. My main objection of the day was to buy a pair of jeans because I don't think I have enough to last me for these two weeks. The first thing I did see, though, was a cute little Hello Kitty jumper.

Now, I'm a sucker for anything Hello Kitty. So I couldn't very well leave it there, could I?

Cute right? Snazzy slogan, and it's a weird shaped jumper, but it's quite nice on! I ended up trying it on in the middle of the shop floor because I couldn't be bothered to go to the changing room ^_^

Price: £10.

Jeans! I then went to find some jeans! Last time I went to Primark to look for jeans, I decided that the ones I liked didn't fit me (because I must be a funny shape -.- ) So I opted to go for the ones I bought last time that I mentioned in this post, but in a different colour. I went for red!

Quite nice I thought, lovely for summer. I didn't feel the need to try them on because I just bought the same size as the ones I'd already bought. So I assume they should fit!

Price: £11.

On the way to the tills I came across a table of T-shirts which just so happened to have a little selection of Hello Kitty ones. Again, I couldn't resist so I picked up this lovely one.

They had a few other designs there that were Hello Kitty. One was too sparkly for me and the other one was a Diamond Jubilee one. Both not my style. This one was terribly cute, though.

Price: £6.

I also saw a Kermit The Frog one there too, and my boyfriend got so excited that he wouldn't let me leave it there, so I bought that one too.

Ahh, I love The Muppets.

Price: £6.

I couldn't let myself spend any more money so I paid and left after that. I'm happy with my goodies though. ^_^ Spoiled myself a little bit!

What have you been up to this week?

This week on Instagram.

Hello, hello! Welcome to this weeks edition of 'This week on Instagram'! Now I must admit that there isn't a lot of Instagram uploads this week, but I do have a good reason! I finally have confirmed plans to move house. We were quite skeptical for a while, due to a few previous moving plans fell through but it's all sorted now! So it means I've been busy all week packing up, so I haven't had a lot of time to do much else!

But here's the small amount of pictures I've taken and uploaded to Instagram anyway! For your enjoyment, I hope! It's a bit late to be uploaded today due to it being fathers day and me being out for dinner!

If you'd like to follow me on Instragram my username is Taylalatbh or Click Here to add me.

A yummy magnum ice cream lolly! Mmm!

My OOTD from one day this week. My lovely new coloured skinnies! <3

Mmm. My boyfriend and I made some yummy cupcakes! They were intensely chocolatey!

I packed all my portable mirrors, and all my mirrors from the wall had been taken down so I used my iPad to dry my hair in! Smart.

Found my collection of sunglasses/glasses. Too much?

The finished cupcakes from earlier. I need to work on my piping technique!
Once again, lovely followers, I apologise for the lack of Instagram updates this week. But I hope these ones were fulfilling enough for the time being! I hope to be back on my feet within the next 3/4 weeks and back to a better scheduling!

Don't forget to add me on Instagram and Twitter for more updates.

Last Weekends' New Buys!

Hey lay-deeez!

I went out around town last Saturday to do a bit of shopping. I haven't done it in a while. One reason is because of the weather. It's been terribly windy and rainy for the past week or so. The next reason is that I'm rather low on money and I should probably stop wasting my money on junk! But I did anyway ;)

I didn't buy an awful lot mind, but I was in search for a new pair of jeans. To no avail. But I did get a pair of coloured jeans which I adore!

It's hard to tell the colour of them perfectly with the lighting in the images, but they're a little lighter than the picture makes them seem. They're so soft and very comfortable though. Pretty good for a cheap pair of jeans! Now I just need to find some denim ones that fit. -.-

Bought from Primark for £11.

Next up, is some new nail polishes!

~ Just a quick note before I start introducing the colours, the camera quality and lighting does not do the green polish any favours. It's much more green than it appears! ~

As you can see, they're both Rimmel polishes from the 'I Heart Lasting Finish' range. (I think I have a thing for Rimmel products!) The first is 700 'Block Your Green'. In the image it looks slighty teal in colour but it's  a lot more green when you see it for real. The next is 239 'Your Majesty', a very sparkly, very pigmented silver glitter polish.

I'm not a great fan of glitter polishes but I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm looking forward to incorporating it into a nail art design!

This are both the polishes with a base coat and one coat of polish.

The green looks terribly blue, so it's hard to show you the colour. So I would recommend checking it out yourself! But you can definitely see the shimmer on the silver.

This is with a base coat and two coats of polish. Both very pigmented and only need the two coats. Now I'm going to finish off the design for this weeks NOTW!

Green - Bought from Superdrug at £2.50

Silver - Bought from Primark at £2.

That's all for what I've bought this week. Just an update though, I'm in the process of gathering items for my first giveaway! I can't wait, can you?

This week on Instagram.

Welcome again, to another weekly edition of  'This week on Instagram'. This Sunday my family are sitting out in the rain under a gazebo having a BBQ. Crazy Brits, right? Even though it's raining, the food is cooking just nicely and I can't wait to dig into a lovely burger with bacon and cheese!

There are quite a few Instagram uploads this week, I think I tend to go a bit overboard with it sometimes! But it does mean more for you to glare at on your Sunday evenings, which can't be a bad thing!

If you'd like to follow me on Instragram my username is Taylalatbh or Click Here to add me.

Terrible quality, I know, but look how many updates! I've had terrible luck with technology this week. -.-

My free sample of toothpaste turned up! I still haven't tried it though.

My nail polish/nail art collection. It's only small but it's building up.

My NOTW which only lasted until Monday night because I was too lazy to put a top coat on.

The pattern on my dress that I wore to the Horse Racing on Monday. The image is pixelated because my phone was playing up -.-

Was it a winning ticket? Did a little betting at the Horse Races. Spend a bit, won a bit. A good day!

Another picture of the betting slips.

A shocking spelling mistake on a label I noticed on the coach ride home. What's a Hamer?

Absolutely terrible parking I passed outside my house. It's surprising he still kept his wingmirrors after that!

Emptied out R2 to do a little count up. There was about a tenner there.

Some cute rings that were bought for me. Unfortunately they were too big, nice though!

My nans new mobile phone. Massive buttons!

Another pixelated image -.- The glove part on my Totoro scarf, it has claws!

A wall of graffiti I saw around the corner from my house. Really nice stuff.

Ooh, a healthy-ish dinner I had one night this week. It was very tasty.

I painted my nails again this week after the blue didn't last. Tried a bit of nail art, turned out alright I think.

The end result of one hand. I ended up just doing vertical lines on each nail on the other hand because I got a bit bored! Lasted until today too.

Freshly dried hair. I think I need my bangs cut, don't you?

My little collection of Maybelline Baby Lips. I'm still yet to pick which one I wish to use first!

Was really happy with my 38 followers so I did a little deco on the image to make it all sparkly. I now have 42 followers, thank you all <3

My little Ewok necklace I bought a year ago, cute little lego guy.

My favourite smoothie bar that closed down a few years ago came back! I got to have the banana milkshake I like so much. Very yummy, indeed.

The cutest of all kittys, this is Penny. Relaxing on the windowsill in the sun. She was so warm after!

Some photos from today, now. Who's idea was it to have a BBQ today? There's no sun, and it rained a little!

Double yolked egg though, it's not often you see those!

And finally, all the food on the BBQ. Looks so tasty.

That's all for this weeks post of 'This week on Instagram'. I hope you enjoyed you week, because I did. Have a good Sunday afternoon and a good week next week!
